Our Legislative Progress
During this Administration, with Pancakse as our President, we have taken steps to serve the public effectively. In May, the Oath of Office Act was introduced, reaffirming our dedication to public service. Then in July, we passed the Unhealthy Foods and Beverages Act, which came into effect in August, focusing on improving the nation's health.
In late June and early July, we worked with the Emperor to track the Category Five Major Hurricane Beryl. By July, the Major Hurricane hit our Empire's External Territory Otren, and Otren's partners in nearby islands of the Lesser Antilles. While some damage occured in Otren's partners, no damage was sustained in Otren, our preparation minimized its impact on Utrea, our external territory and their partners. On July 10th, the post-tropical remnants of Major Hurricane Beryl delivered heavy rainfall and other dangerous weather conditions to the Utrean Empire, however, there was no damage reported. It was reported that the damage which occured in our External Territory's partners was extremely minimal, accompanied by a telecommuncations and electrical blackout which was not in their control.
